If the need ever arises, you can force reset a staff member’s password using the GateHawk Property Web Portal. 


Resetting a Staff Member’s Password

To force reset a staff member’s password:

  1. Log into the GateHawk Property Web Portal 

  2. Click on desired Property Organization (if applicable)

  3. Click Staff in the navigation bar at the top of the page

  4. Find the Staff Member whose password you wish to reset either by scrolling through the list or by searching for them using the Search for Staff Name search bar
  5. Click the three dots (︙) to the right of the Staff Member’s role
  6. Click Reset Password in the pop-up menu
  7. Click Accept in the pop-up to confirm the password reset


The staff member will receive an email containing a random, temporary password. They will be instructed to click the Login button from the email where the will login using their email address and temporary password. At this point, the staff member will be prompted to create a new email address.
